By using her ‘Ride With Your Mind’ (RWYM) approach, Mary will teach you how to organize your mind and body - in the same way as top riders - in order to realize life-changing results in your riding.  By increasing body awareness and using innovative imaging techniques, Mary will help you understand what to do and, most importantly, how to do it.  Mary’s focus on concentration, body awareness, alignment, coordination and core muscle strength creates incredible improvements in even the most beginner – or advanced – riders.  You'll ride away from this clinic with so many valuable tools to work with, you’ll wonder why you didn’t start riding with Mary sooner.

Open to riders at all levels, from relative novices to upper level competitors.  Learning in the RWYM method takes place in a calm, safe, supportive, and appropriately challenging environment, with no raised voices and no impossible demands.  Learning is satisfying, exciting and fun!

Each day includes a semi-private lesson with Mary, lunch, as well as an unmounted discussion each afternoon that includes exercises that illustrate the biomechanics of correct riding in a question and answer format.  Participants can bring their own horse or lease a school horse. 

Auditors Welcome!
Watch, listen and learn as Mary works with each student. Auditors are also welcome to attend, have lunch and participate in the mid-day discussions.

Clinic Fees

Lesson Rates 3-day Clinic  (prices include lunch and afternoon discussion for all 3 days) Returning Rider (early bird) rider rates apply to riders who have ridden with Mary Wanless within the last 3 years and who get their deposit in by 4/5/12.

Semi-Private  - Three 60 min lessons, one each day - $575 ($475 early bird)

Auditors (includes lunch and afternoon discussion)

Pre-registered Auditors: $40/day or $115/all three days

Early Bird Auditor Discount - before April 5th = $35/day or $90/all three days

Must register by 4/5/12 for early bird pricing

Walk-in Auditors: $50/day or $145/all three days

Stabling Fees

Stalls - $30 per night (bedding included)
Field boarding -  $20 per night with shelter/$10 per night without

Pasture use during the day for any horse is complimentary.  See registration form for details.  All horses must have current negative Coggins test. 

Lesson Horses Lease

Great Strides offers quality school horses available for lease to mindful Clinic participants.  Our horses are familiar with RWYM and range widely in size, shape, and the scope of challenge they offer to the rider. $40/ride.

Lodging

Attendees needing overnight accommodations have the option to stay at an area hotel or at Great Strides’ farm.  Our lovely farm house is located a stone’s throw from the barn and riding arenas.  Room rates range from $25 to $40 per person per night  For more information call 301.253.1166. Mary Wanless Clinic Deposit Policy - Deposits due by 4/4/12. Deposits are refundable, less a $50.00 office fee, if riders’ space can be filled.
