Executive Director
The newest addition to our leadership team, Joy Gill, brings over 10 years of experience leading non-profit organizations. In joining Great Strides, Joy mused: "This is a rare opportunity to merge my love of horses and belief in their amazing abilities in this area with my vocation. I am humbled by the opportunity to use my business talents to bring these life-changing experiences to people in and beyond our community, and am glad that I can make it possible for Terry to take our work to a new level."
Joy brings many years of experience in for-profit and non-profit agencies. She has served as Executive Director of three non-profits where she was successful in leading them to new accomplishments, both fiscal and programmatic; Chief Operating Officer of a for-profit business; Chief Clinical Officer of a national health services provider; and consultant, among other positions.
She brings a background in nursing, a rich volunteer resume, and a great familiarity with technology as well as having been a former horse owner. Her vision, broad skill base and strong experience will be great assets as she helps lead Great Strides into our next phase of growth.
