Visit:
National Horse Protection League
We had a visit from Rebekka West, a writer for the National Horse Protection League. She chronicled her visit on their website under their "Horse Tales" section, located at: National Horse Protection League. Thanks for the wonderful article on your website, Rebekka. Check out all the other information on their site, as well.
Spalding Labs
Spalding Labs, makers of Fly Predators, provides our farm with those wonderful little fly-pupae eating bugs, and can provide them to your farm too! The generous folks at Spalding Labs will donate to Great Strides 10% of all sales which are generated from people who use our link to purchase Fly Predators from them. We have found that Fly Predators really do make a difference in the fly population, even in the first year of using them. Fewer flies makes for happier horses - and people!
The Epona Method
The site of Linda Kohanov (New York Times bestseller) where Terry trained during 2005 - 2006 to be an Approved Instructor. "Named after the ancient horse goddess Epona, a symbol of healing, transformation and balance for the Celts, Epona Equestrian Services is a collective of educators, counselors, physical therapists and riding instructors exploring the healing potential of horse-human relationships." (From their site)

TaylorMade Stables
TaylorMade was the first home for Great Strides and for that we will always be grateful. Robert and Kathy Taylor run a wonderful operation on this beautiful 100-acre full-service facility. They specialize in hunting, eventing and sales of superior horses. Visit their site for more information.
Maryland Horse Industry Board
Through Maryland Horse Industry Board's generosity, we were able to have staff trained in vaulting and we purchased some needed equipmpent. Visit their website to learn more about their important work. Thanks, again!
Maryland Horse
Maryland Horse is a wonderful site that provides a number of links to web sites in the horse world - local and not so local.
Maryland Association of Nonprofits
Maryland Association of Nonprofits has been very helpful to us, and many other nonprofits, in becoming tax exempt and in obtaining expert consultation on a wide range of nonprofit issues. A great resource!
